With the page turned horizontally, the view as identified by Cecilia Powell1 is south along the Mur, with the Schlossberg rising on the left and the lightly indicated curve of the cables of the suspension bridge which then spanned the river. Technical notes:
There is staining towards the top left and right from the leather pencil loops secured under the front paste-down (D41222).
