This is a continuation of the sketch of a mill or foundry on folio 21 verso opposite (D00287).
Technical notes:
The double-page drawing was evidently made after Turner had torn out the two leaves immediately preceding the present page (see the introduction to the sketchbook).
Verso:
Blank, except for a smear of what may be sealing wax, corresponding to that on folio 23 recto opposite (D00289); stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram top centre.
