Although this drawing, inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, is too slight to furnish conclusive evidence, it almost certainly shows the same line of cliffs as those on the versos of folios 37, 38 and 39 (D01972, D01974, D01976). Like that on D01974, this depicts a short section of the ridge, with its long green slopes crowned by characteristic sheer black gritstone rocks.
