Prague’s imperial Cathedral of St Vitus is rendered in a cursory jotting at centre, produced with the sketchbook turned upside down (see Tate D30765; Turner Bequest CCCIV 71). The ruined tower above and below are unidentified but inscribed ‘D[...]’ and ‘[M...y]’. Turner has sketched the same tower again on the folio opposite (Turner Bequest CCCIV 71).
