The subject is continued on folio 61 recto opposite (D03028; Turner Bequest LVI 59). This drawing and that on folios 59 verso–60 recto (D03025–D03026; Turner Bequest LVI 57a–58), were used for a lost watercolour1 engraved by William Miller as a large plate in 1847 (Tate impression: T05813). It seems likely that this was the work shown at the Royal Academy in 1802 (377) as Kilchern Castle, with the Cruachan Ben Mountains, Scotland: Noon, which has usually been identified as the Kilchurn Castle with a Rainbow in Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery.2 For the castle, see under folio 53 recto (D03012; Turner Bequest LVI 51).
