A landscape sketch is rendered above a view of the east of end of the Church Notre Dame at Huy. Notre Dame’s celebrated Bethlehem Portral is recorded in a detail to the right of the Church (see Tate D19630–D19631; Turner Bequest CCXVI 40–41). A second view of a distant town is depicted at rear, parallel to the gutter of the sketchbook.
