The view is taken looking east from close to the site of the works. The bridge in this drawing was probably that which carried the railway back over the River Taf to the canal basin on the lower Cyfarthfa Works site. For other aspects of the site see D01629 and D01630 (XLI 1, 2) of this sketchbook.
