This page contains four sketches, drawn with the page upright:
i. (top) The Mont Cenis Pass from the south side, looking north across the ‘Lake’ towards the Pointe de la Grande Casse, inscribed ‘Isser’, presumably referring to the Isère Valley, which is beyond this range.
ii. The Mont Cenis Pass looking ?south across the lake, inscr ‘Brann’ [possibly Brunn, but either way meaning obscure].
iii. The Mont Cenis Pass; a similar view across the ‘Lake’ to that above, but from a lower viewpoint.
iv. (bottom, inverted in relation to the other three sketches) The Mont Cenis Pass from the lake shore, perhaps looking north again.
