This is a view of Dresden taken from the Brühl Terrace, a balcony overlooking the Elbe River. The building at centre left is the Hofkirche (Dresden Cathedral), and beyond it is the Italian Village (an area once home to the Italian architects and builders who constructed the Hofkirche), the Bridge, and part of the Japanese Palace on the opposite side of the Elbe.
