The details of this sketch are too rough to be conclusively identified although it appears to depict a distant view of coastline with a natural or man-made structure in the foreground. It may relate to the adjacent sequence of studies from the Camaldoli Hill, see folios 72–74 verso and 75 verso–78 verso (D15869–D15873 and D15872–D15882; Turner Bequest CLXXXV 70–72a and 73a–76a).
