These are drawings of Copenhagen and its principal square the Kongens Nytorv. Turner depicts the south-west and north-west sides of the square, recording the King’s Theatre, St Nicholas’ Tower, the Hotels Grand Nord and d’Angleterre and the Hovedvagten.
