Made with the page turned horizontally, this drawing is perhaps a continuation of the landscape on folio 4 recto (D03656).
Technical notes:
This and the previous leaf, folio 5 (D40781, D03718; Turner Bequest LXI 62, 62v) were noted by Finberg in 1909 as ‘loose pages’;1 he suggested that they had been ‘cut out’ from this point in the book,2 where they have subsequently been rebound.
