Turner has produced the drawing with the page turned horizontally relative to the foliation. This is a rough sketch of a downward sloping cliff, where Turner has rendered the craggy outcrops and contours of the top of the cliff. The marks at the right may indicate a separate drawing of a cliff, where the sketchbook has been turned upside down relative to the foliation. This drawing seems to continue onto the bottom of folio 1 verso opposite (D35335).
Technical notes:
There is some discolouration on the left- and right-hand side of the page where the paper has browned through exposure.
