There are two separate drawings on this folio: the sketch at the upper register is a cursory view of buildings and a bridge, possibly showing Mézières (now Charleville-Mézières), a city south of Givet in the Ardennes region of France.1 The other drawing is rendered in much lighter, tentative pencil and depicts a landscape with a tower.
