The drawing is continued on folio 15 recto opposite (D01704; Turner Bequest XLII 29). See folios 13 verso–14 recto (D01701–D01702; Turner Bequest XLII 26–27) for another scene in Bristol harbour, identified in an inscription. Here the location is indicated clearly by the spire of St Mary Redcliffe in the left distance; truncated in a lightning strike of 1446, it may also appear in the preceding drawing.
