Inverted relative to the sketchbook’s foliation, this is a slight continuation of buildings near the west front of All Saints Church, Northampton, seen on folio 17 verso opposite (D22352). As noted by Eric Shanes,1 the sketch informed Turner’s watercolour The Northampton Election, 6 December 1830 of about 1830–1 (Tate T12321).2
