The faint sketch is towards the bottom of the page; its subject, formed form cursive lines, is unclear. See introductory note to this sketchbook on this early record of Turner as drawing master. The lists of drawing tools on folios 29 verso and 39 recto (D00300, D00318) are presumably connected with this enterprise.
