Stylistically this drawing seems to be of a piece with the preceding pages, notably the views of Neath on folios 15 recto and 16 recto (D00476, D00477). It possibly shows the harbour at either Saundersfoot or Tenby, but the subject seems more plausibly to be a town on the south-east coast of England; perhaps Ramsgate. All the remaining subjects in the book may be Kentish; compare the South Wales sketchbook (Tate D00628–D00660; Turner Bequest XXVI 71v–98).
Verso:
Blank; some colour offset from folio 25 recto opposite (D00486); stamped in brown ink with Turner Bequest monogram.
