This film considers how Vaughan’s archive of sketches and journals uncover his personal, sexual, emotional and creative life - and how his homosexuality and depression informed his artistic practice. His personal papers and journals are in Tate Archive, existing as windows into the development of his artistic ideas, and also into Vaughan's mental state, depression and sexual angst and desires.
