Taste of Tate
Tuesday 15 April to Sunday 4 May
12:00 - 17:00 p.m.
Visitors to Tate Liverpool can enjoy eating gourmet interpretations of their favourite artworks from the Tate collection. A group of young people aged 15-17 from Refugee Action's 'Get Connected' Programme have designed and created sumptuous main courses inspired by the work of modern and contemporary artists which are on sale as ‘dishes of the week’ in Tate Café.
Visitors can experience colourful marinated salmon ‘butterflies’, lemon grass infused ‘kinetic’ kebabs and a tasty lamb on rosti islands with spaghetti vegetables. The Taste of Tate specials are a real feast for the eyes as well as the palette.
