Artist Pardip Kapil combines elements of visual arts, installation and set-building to create imaginative evolving environments, which he brings to life with impulsive moments of impromptu performance. Eccentric handmade costumes, props, posters, found objects, projections, sounds and people create multi-layered experiences, which are exciting, unique and unpredictable.
Drop in and become part of his artistic team as ActionSpace takes over Tate Exchange. Starting with the themes of celebrations and ritual spaces and using artwork in the Tate collection for inspiration, create and explore an immersive, site-specific installation. The focus will be on shared processes and intuitive production developed as Pardip and his collaborators work together.
This event is a chance for you to explore your own creativity through engaging with Pardip’s unconventional artistic practice.
This event is programmed by ActionSpace, a Tate Exchange Associate.
