This exhibition, part of Tate Britain’s Art Now series, includes recent work by emerging artists who investigate the material world through the conversion of information from one state to another.
Exploring the internet’s capacity to collapse time and space, these works investigate points of affinity and distance, intimacy and anonymity, pitching the elastic dimensions of a virtual landscape against the physical certainty of the here and now. Artists include: Eloise Hawser, Katrina Palmer, Yuri Pattison, Charlotte Prodger.
This exhibition has been curated by Lizzie Carey-Thomas.
