Issue 1

Welcome to TateShots, our new monthly programme for art junkies everywhere. The first video we made was an interview with Gilbert & George, who once declared that they ‘believe in the art, the beauty and the life of the artist who is an eccentric person with something to say for himself’. We tend to agree, and hope that TateShots will be there to record the moment. This is new territory for us, so we’d like to know what you think about TateShots. Send feedback to tateshots@tate.org.uk – Jane Burton, Editor, TateShots, 27 February 2007.
