CAVA (Centre for Architecture and Visual Art) at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool University Press: Critical Forum

Critical Forum is a longstanding research, programming and publishing partnership in collaboration between Tate Liverpool, CAVA (a Liverpool University inter-disciplinary research centre) and Liverpool University Press. Comprising of two linked programming and publishing arms, Critical Forum is aimed at arts professionals, practicing academics and students. Events take the form of conferences, symposia, seminars and round-table discussions that relate to Tate Liverpool's exhibitions and education programmes as well as to current issues in modern and contemporary art. These events are usually either based on existing publications or result in new publications. Critical Forum is run by Professor Jonathan Harris, Director of CAVA and Jean Tormey. The partnership began in 1998.
