The Research Centre is located on the lower ground floor of Tate Britain, around the corner from the cloakroom at the Manton Entrance in Atterbury Street.

All coats, jackets and large bags must be left in the cloakroom at the Manton Entrance. There are lockers located in the lobby of the Research Centre for small items. Handbags are not permitted in the Research Centre, however reusable, clear plastic bags are provided to bring essential items or those required for research into the facility. Please read the Research Centre regulations for other requirements.

The Research Centre is accessible by wheelchair.
