Library and Archive Reading Rooms Location

The Reading Rooms are located on the lower ground floor of Tate Britain, around the corner from the cloakroom at the Manton Entrance in Atterbury Street. See Tate Britain visiting information

All coats, jackets and large bags must be left in the cloakroom at the Manton Entrance. There are lockers located in the lobby of the Reading Rooms for small items. Handbags are not permitted in the Reading Rooms, however reusable, clear plastic bags are provided to bring essential items or those required for research into the facility. The Reading Rooms are accessible by wheelchair.
