Large Print What's On Guide

Tate's bi-monthly what’s on guide provides information about visiting all four Tate galleries and lists the events organised. The large-print guide is divided into three sections for download in RTF format:

Touch Tours

Touch Tours are currently available at Tate Modern. They introduce visually impaired visitors to the thematic arrangement of the displays and engage with the ideas, materials and techniques of art since 1900. Tours will typically include a sculpture that can be explored through direct handling and a number of other two and three dimensional works that are explored using a combination of raised images, handling objects, description and discussion.

Tate Modern also has a selection of raised-image reproductions of work in the Collection, produced by the Living Paintings Trust. These are accompanied by recorded commentaries and are available from the Clore Information Room.

Large-Print Captions

Large-print captions are available in the exhibitions and displays at all four galleries. Please ask at the Information Desks or a member of staff for assistance. Audio Guides for Visually Impaired People

Tate Modern offers the General Collections Tour, which is a guide to the collection displays at Tate Modern. It allows you to choose your own route though the gallery, giving you an overview of the Collection as well as commentaries about individual works. The General Collections Tour audio-guide costs £2 and is available on Level 3.
