Eat and Drink at Tate

Tate Modern offers visitors a wide variety of choices all offering delicious food, outstanding service and value for money.

Tate Modern Café 2, recent winner of the Time Out Award for Best Family Restaurant, is located at the west end of the building on Level 2 overlooking the riverside. The Tate Modern Restaurant on Level 7 offers a menu based on seasonal ingredients, an innovative wine list and spectacular views of St. Paul's and the River Thames. In addition, we have Espresso Bars on Levels 2 and 4 that serve a wide selection of homemade sandwiches, salads, cakes and tasty treats along with a variety of tea, coffee and soft drinks. During the festival we will also be operating a bar on the Turbine Hall Bridge serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a selection of snacks and nibbles.

To celebrate Tate Modern's 10 year anniversary, Tate Catering is delighted to launch our exclusive TM10 beer (made especially for Tate by independent brewer Brewdog) and TM10 Port (blended specially for Tate by the team at Quinta de la Rosa in the Douro Valley, Portugal). Both will be on sale at bars over the weekend and also in the Tate Modern Shop.

TM10 beer will be on sale in Café 2 and Tate Modern Restaurant priced £3.95 a bottle. We are also doing handmade TM10 chocolate which will be on sale in cafes and shops - £2.95 a 100g bar.

Our team of chefs will be manning a BBQ on the North Lawn from 11am each day offering a range of delicious, tasty dishes all served with fresh salads and handmade sauces - and why not wash your meal down with either a celebratory TM10 beer or one of our homemade smoothies?

And if you are coming along to one of the evening performances, why not stop off in Café 2 and try our celebratory festival food. Family favourites such as bangers & mash, fish & chips and dhal & rice all feature on the menu from 18.30 until late.
