Artists

Andrea Geyer, Sharon Hayes, Ashley Hunt, Katya Sander and David Thorne have worked together as artists, organizers, researchers, and writers on and off and in varied ways for the last seven years. 9 Scripts from a Nation at War is their first collaboration as a group of five. They began working on the project in August 2004, the first anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq. 9 Scripts from a Nation at War was first shown at documenta 12 in Kassel, Germany in 2007.
