Please note that the Level 4 slide will be closed from Monday 15 January 2007 as a result of the installation of the Gilbert & George exhibition.

Slide tickets
Level 2 slides: Free, no ticket required
Level 3, 4 and 5 slides: Free, timed ticket required

From Wednesday 10 January 2007 there will be a new arrangement in place for giving out slide tickets.
Tickets for time slots from 10.00–13.30 will be released at 10.00
Tickets for time slots from 14.00–17.30 will be released at 14.00

On Fridays and Saturdays
Tickets for time slots from 18.00–21.30 will be released at 18.00

Tickets are:
• valid only for the time period marked on the ticket
• valid for one ride on one slide
• available in the gallery on a first come, first served basis
• not available in advance

Slide Rules and Regulations
The following restrictions apply to the slides:
• Children under 0.9m are not permitted to use the slides.
• Children under 1.1m are not permitted to use the slide on Level 3.
• Children under 1.4m are not permitted to use the slides on Levels 4 and 5.
• Visitors under the influence of drugs or alcohol are not permitted to use the slides.
• Pregnant women or individuals with heart or back conditions should not use the slides.

Precautions
• Riding head first is dangerous and is not permitted.
• All visitors must ride feet first on their back.
• Elbows should be tucked in and arms placed across the chest or on their lap.
• The slides on Levels 4 and 5 are fast and the experience is physical. Take particular care and follow the Gallery Assistants' instructions.
• All visitors must use the sliding mats provided for the slides.
• Only one rider at a time is allowed to enter the slides.
• No bags or other items to be taken down the slide. Please deposit your belongings in the cloakroom on Level 1.

• Please leave the landing area promptly after exiting the slides.

• If you are unsure of the rules or have any questions about the slides, please speak to a Gallery Assistant.
• While every effort has been taken to ensure the slides are safe, visitors using the slides do so at their own risk.

Exhibition Hours
Sunday to Thursday, 10.00–18.00. Friday and Saturday, 10.00–22.00. Last admission into exhibitions 17.15 (Friday and Saturday 21.15).

Carsten Höller, Test Site Tours
Enjoy a tour about the work of Carsten Höller and his exhibition Test Site. Your guide will then work up through the galleries highlighting work by the previous Unilever Series artists along the way. Your tour will conclude with a ride down the slides.
This hour-long tour costs £7 per person, 20 places per tour. Tours take place at 4pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. To book call 020 7887 8888 or book online

Carsten Höller, Test Site Private Tours
Enjoy a tour as above with a guide to yourself and your friends. This hour long tour costs £7 per person, minimum charge £105 and can be booked any day of the week during gallery hours.

Tate Modern Shop
Shop opening hours at Tate Modern are 10.00–18.00 Sunday to Thursday, 10.00–22.00 on Friday and Saturday.

Eating at Tate Modern
The Espresso Bar, located on level 4 and offering drinks, snacks and sandwiches, is open daily 10.15–18.00.
Tate Modern Restaurant is open 10.00–18.00 Sunday to Thursday and 10.00–22.00 Friday and Saturday (last orders at 21.30).
