The Black Hole

Monday 8 February 2010, 18.30–19.30

Darkness is often equated with the nothingness of a black hole, a region of space from which not even light can escape. David S. Berman introduces this phenomenon from the point of view of a physicist. Ben Haggarty then leads us into an exploration of the creation that can emerge from nothingness.
