Bookings are currently open to all schools. You will need to book in advance, preferably at least two weeks before your visit, to ensure that sufficient PDAs are available for all students.
We can accommodate groups of a maximum of 30 students.
The total cost for one group is £50. This can be paid by credit card over the phone when booking or by cheque, via an invoice.
There are 2 slots available per day, morning (starting at 10.00 and ending at 12.00) and afternoon (starting at 13.30 and ending at 15.30). Groups arriving late will have a limited tour experience as the PDAs have to be returned by 12.00 / 15.30.
When calling, please have the following information to hand:-
- Name, address and telephone number of school
- Email address for main teacher
- A range of dates you can visit
- Number of students (as exact as possible, and not to exceed 30)
When your booking is made you will be sent a confirmation letter with details of the above plus information on what to do on the day of your visit. Please also visit the web pages on this site to help you prepare for your visit.
Please note that if you cancel within 2 weeks of your visit date, your £50 fee will not be refunded.
Students will create their own username at the start of the tour (first name and first initial of their last name). They will then create their own password, 5 characters minimum. The next day, students will be able to access the content they created during their visit. This will remain online for three months following the visit. The lead teacher will be emailed a list of all students’ usernames and passwords so there’s no need to worry about any lost or forgotten passwords.
