Feeling like galleries and museums are designed for somebody else? Want to get more involved in planning events for people your own age? Learn to make the most of free art experiences on offer in London and share your enthusiasm about art with others.
The Raw Canvas Training Programme will give you an introduction to Tate's collection. On the 12 week course you will:

• Find out more about Tate
• See what's in the stores
• Learn to look at and talk about art
• Discover ways to get information about artists and their work
• Go to talks and events
• Go behind the scenes and meet Curators, Conservators and Educators
• Visit other galleries and see Tate in context
• Join Raw Canvas and find out more about how you can get involved in the programme
• Learn to start a gallery discussion or come up with ideas for a practical activity

The Training Course is on Monday evenings and some Saturdays for 12 weeks. The course costs £20 which will include refreshments. There will be some work to do in between sessions and a small assignment at the end.

If you're between the ages of 15 and 23 and can commit to 3 hours a week for 12 weeks between January and March, and if you fancy getting involved in thinking up ideas for activities and events for young people at Tate Modern, then please email raw.canvas@tate.org.uk stating your interest in the Raw Canvas Training Course.
