Advisory Group
In December 1999, Caro Howell set up an advisory group of
young people who had been involved in projects with Tate before.
The idea was to find out what events they thought should be
organized for young people in the new gallery.
The advisory group call themselves Raw Canvas, they get to
preview the new galleries before they're open and start thinking
up ways for 15-23 year olds to explore and talk about the
art works that are in Tate's collection.
