Banksidemews: a community display
Those living locally (in Bankside, Southwark/Lambeth) are warmly invited to attend a special community celebration for Tate Modern's 10th Anniversary led by artist collective, Black Dogs – a chance to say thanks with some refreshments.
Bring along on the day (or post in advance) an object or image that shows what Tate Modern means to your everyday life – this could be a poem, writing or photo. Nothing to bring? Come along anyway and join in the party.
Images (maximum size A4, maximum file size 5MB, jpeg/tiff), objects (no bigger than 100cm x 100cm), poems or writing can be brought on the day or sent in advance by Wednesday 12 May to community@tate.org.uk or Synthia Griffin, Tate Modern, Bankside, London SE1 9TG.
Please note only images appropriate to the theme will be included, we reserve the right to exclude material deemed inappropriate.
By submitting imagery/text/objects you agree to the work being part of a temporary display - if you would like your object returned (please label it with your name and telephone number) it will only be available for collection at the end of the party, 16.00–17.00 on 16 May in the East Room, Level 7.
Any items sent through the post should follow Royal Mail guidelines.
Free, no bookings taken
