The
'Secret
Life of Objects' centred on the 'Shelters for Survival' gallery -
featuring artworks by Andrea Zittel, Mario Merz and Absalon - chosen
for its overt international cross-cultural references. The project
also referred to works by Barnett Newman, Gillian Wearing and Rebecca
Horn.
Arising
out of these discussions the group (of 7and 8 year olds) constructed
their own structures for survival in the Maculay Studio at Tate Modern
and documented their working processes and responses to the works
of art and their experience of Tate Modern. Press on the names opposite
