Daily Guided Tours

Join one of our free Daily Guided Tours and take a closer look at Tate's collection. Tours last approximately 45 minutes, each focusing on highlights from different areas of our collection displays as chosen by a Tate Guide.

Tate Multimedia Guides

Joan Miro, Andy Warhol, Dan Flavin and Louise Bourgeois - See the artists at work, listen to the music that inspired them and hear what they have to say about their own work.

The Collection Tour includes responses by leading cultural critics, musicians, and writers. Group booking information for multimedia guides is available via Tate Ticketing Services (020 7887 8888).

For young people, we have a family tour available on Level 3 with interactive activities, make a creature weirder than a Lobster Telephone, Dribble paint with Jackson Pollock or improve Matisse's snail.

All tours are available in English. A Highlights Tour is also available in French, German, Italian and Spanish from early September.

Exhibition Guided Tours

We offer highlights tours of our major exhibitions at set dates and times for £6.50 per person plus the exhibition ticket. Tours are given by Tate guides and last for one hour. Your guide will wear a microphone and you will wear a special receiver so that the tour is exclusive to those who have purchased tour tickets. Maximum of 15 people per tour. Group Guiding System

If you are lecturing to your own group, you may like to consider hiring our group-guiding equipment for your visit, at a cost of £1.50 per person.

The Antenna Audio group guiding system provides a perfect solution for your in gallery lecture. The guide has a transmitter and microphone, and each group member has a receiver and earpiece, for high quality sound without disturbing others.
