In this new film, Polish artist Miroslaw Balka talks about the giant steel structure currently occupying the Turbine Hall, the latest commission in The Unilever Series, and reveals how family memories and his country's history have shaped his work.

The film begins with a visit to the artist's studio at his family home in Otwock, near Warsaw, and follows him as he retraces the journey made by over 8,000 Jews, from Otwock to the Nazi death camp of Treblinka.
