Telling Stories in the Dark
Stacy Makishi leads us through the dark, releasing our creative powers in order to write, conceive, collaborate and perform our own stories.
In the first session, experienced workshop leader and performer Stacy Makishi facilitates exercises in and around How It Is to access our imagination and memory in order to formulate our unique narratives, to write in our own personal voice and to perform individual or group storytelling sessions.
In the second session one week later, on 1 March, a selection of participants from the Telling Stories in the Dark workshop perform their unique stories for an audience of family, friends and strangers. This will be preceded by a brief rehearsal and feedback period.
Find out more information about the performance.
The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in storytelling and performance but it is physically involving, therefore we recommend that participants wear comfortable, warm clothing.
£10 (£7 concessions), booking recommended
