Saturday 16 May 2009, 11.00–19.00

Shoot London is back for its fourth year, but this time with a new format that will take participants on a novel adventure as they collaborate to bring a story to life with their pictures.

Teams are given different parts of a well known story (adapted by Joe Dunthorne) and sent into the local streets to find inspiration and take photos that respond to or represent each phrase.

At the end of the day all photos are collected and compiled to create a unique photographic storyboard that will be presented on a big screen in the Turbine Hall.

Prizes are awarded for the best and quirkiest photography. The day finishes with drinks where participants can relax after one of the most fun and creative days to be had in London.

Extra teams now released for Shoot London 2009!!!

A small number of tickets will be released the day before the event and allocated via a ticket draw - send an e-mail to ticketing@tate.org.uk (stating 'Shoot London') and including a daytime contact telephone number.
