Tate Modern Restaurant

'One of the best views in London' Evening Standard

Tate Modern RestaurantLocated on Level 7 of the gallery, the Tate Modern Restaurant offers a menu based on fresh, seasonal produce together with an exciting wine list focusing on innovative producers. Relax with friends over a glass of wine in the bar, or plan a special occasion lunch or dinner.

We work with high quality, specialist suppliers and source the finest seasonal produce. Head Chef Bruce Wilson creates menus which showcase quality ingredients, often sourced locally, but also taking the best from other countries, particularly Spain and Italy.

The current menu includes dishes such as roasted Duroc pork rillette with pickled radishes and toasted sourdough, devilled Cornish mackerel with Charlotte potatoes and apple & radish coleslaw and chargrilled Devon rump steak with Blacksticks blue butter and purple sprouting broccoli. We also offer classic British dishes such as deep fried Cornish haddock with chips, tartare sauce and mushy peas.

The Tate Modern Restaurant offers a late lunch from 3pm which includes char-grilled marinated vegetables with goats' curd and yogurt marinated lamb with raddichio & mint salad. You can also enjoy a variety of homemade cakes and desserts such as lemon and poppy seed drizzle cake and comice pear and cinnamon crumble with vanilla ice cream.

The Restaurant also features Cold Mouth Prayer by James Aldridge, a panoramic painting, specially commissioned for the space.
