Keith Pattison, a photographer based in Newcastle and associated with the Amber group, produced this series of photographs while he was Photographer-in-Residence in Easington colliery village. Pattison's residency coincided with the 1984 Miners Strike and his remarkable images capture a struggling community in the midst of the industrial dispute.
