Thursday 12 November 2009, 18.00–19.30

Wayne Hemingway & Son have put a radical new slant on the latest Tate Collection display The DLA Piper Series: This is Sculpture by transforming the gallery into a real life silent disco.

Take over 20 figurative sculptures from the Tate Collection, add a light-up disco dance floor, mirror balls and lighting design by Kathrine Sandys, and create a completely new interactive gallery environment.

In this informal discussion event, join Wayne Hemingway as he talks through his approach to creating this radical new space and find out how the silent disco came into being.

This event is supported by Tate Liverpool Members.
