About

Tate Liverpool welcomes visits from school and college groups. However, all group visits need to be booked in advance so we can ensure the galleries are not overcrowded. Upon booking you will receive information on current displays and exhibitions, along with guidelines for visiting the Gallery.

The Schools and Colleges Programme at Tate Liverpool supports and enriches classroom practice through a variety of events designed to extend knowledge and understanding of Tate's unique collection of historic, modern and contemporary art. By encouraging pupils and teachers to engage with the different types of artwork on display, we wish to promote confidence in being in the gallery environment and self confidence in personal interpretations of art.
