Maximise your visit to Tate Modern by finding out how to use its physical and architectural spaces as a stimulating learning resource. This course uses a diverse range of practical methods to explore the context and placement of art works in the Collection displays. From entering the Turbine Hall to travelling between floors, practical activities will exploit the structure’s unique perspectives. You focus on:
- Experimental approaches to a gallery visit, utilising every aspect of your trip, including getting from A to B
- Exploring the notion of site-specificity by making and exhibiting work in the public realm
- The role of the audience in activating an art work and ideas of public engagement and intervention.
