Tate Teachers is a continuing professional development programme that runs across all four Tate galleries. It embraces the role that art can play in your professional life and in the lives of your pupils.
The programme has grown out of wide consultation and offers a rich array of opportunities for teachers at all stages of their careers. It aims to complement and extend classroom practice, joining up gallery- and school-based learning, working in partnership with you to develop subject knowledge about, and approaches to, historic, modern and contemporary art.
Tate Teachers offers courses and events at all four Tate galleries, drawing on Tate’s world-renowned Collection displays and exhibitions and working with teams of creative practitioners. At the heart of the programme is a belief in the capacity of visual art to inspire, challenge and offer fresh perspectives on learning across the curriculum.
