TATE BRITAIN AND TATE MODERN
(MA accredited module 20 credits)
TiP 2, Learning through Art in the Museum, enables teachers to gain a range of skills and approaches to working with historic, modern and contemporary art. Using works of art in the Collection to provide further contextual approaches to teaching and learning, TiP 2 aims to develop peer-led learning for teachers in foundation, primary and secondary settings.
January – June 2009
The course is composed of three Saturday study days at Tate Britain and three Monday evenings at Tate Modern.
Learning through Art in the Museum is offered in partnership with the School of Education at Roehampton University, and successful completion of the course will enable participants to claim 20 Masters-level credits towards Roehampton’s MA in Art, Craft & Design Education.
