2: Planning Gallery Interventions
Work with pupils (groups or individuals according to their ideas) in the gallery, ensuring they have one proposal/idea, and an alternative. Encourage detailed, descriptive drawing. Elicit ideas so far, and introduce the possibility of using school resources. Where pupils are planning to bring resources into Tate, raise issues of health and safety at Tate, logistics of transportation, and permission needed.Ensure pupils have two illustrated proposals, with all eventualities considered. Finish a plan of action; write up ideas. Instruct pupils to bring in any equipment / materials from home next week for the last session (in case there are any problems with availability or health and safety to be considered).
