Straight after the discussion, ask pupils to draw out ideas while still fresh in their heads, accompanied by annotations to explain details. As and when pupils feel ready, start preparing work in journals using plan of action sheets. This is to get pupils thinking about their ideas in realistic terms - how and when things can be done, what needs to be brought in and when, and perhaps most importantly who needs to be spoken to. Assist others through brainstorming, discussion. (If necessary, pupils can re-visit locations to research more).
