Making Connections; Vocabulary

>Introduction
>Activity 1: Making Connections
>Activity 2: Building Vocabulary

In this session students are encouraged to make connections between artworks in the galleries and a series of photographs given to them by the teacher/group leader. The photographs should generally relate to underlying themes in the artworks. The students are then asked to provide one word responses to individual artworks. The purpose of gathering the personal responses of the students in a series of single words is to build a vocabulary which can then be used as the starting point for a sculpture project in the next session.
